I teach courses in the Department of German and Russian (School of Languages and Cultures) and in the Linguistics program at Purdue University.  I teach graduate courses on corpus linguistics, historical linguistics, language variation and change, German(ic) Morphosyntax, Old Saxon, and Language as a Complex Adaptive System. Undergraduate coursework includes courses on German language and culture, History of the German Language, and Beer and Brewing in German Culture.
